The other night as we were driving home from the beach a song played on the radio, you know how some songs seem to fit an experience you go through and they become your anthem?
Jamey Johnson signs a song called "In Color" it talks about the great depression and how his Grandfather and his friend relied on each other to get through it. The lyrics isn't what made me sad when I heard this song, it reminded me of what most talk about when no one understands what they are going through.
I tell my story and as much as people try to understand they don't, the movie they see is in black and white and play's as a silent picture. If I had to use a term on how life is surviving the after affects of West Nile, I'd have to say "You should see it in Color"
My description only paints faint brush strokes of what really happened on a canvas not visible to others, the sound of struggling can't be heard when the white noise of life is so prevalent. In black and white you can't see the detail of the pain, the suffering that a survivor goes through, the tears, and the agony seem to fade into the background.
Man you should of seen it in color,,,,,
