I know that Mitch has put a lot into keeping this site alive, his time and money. I think we should all take a moment to thank him for all the countless hours, hard work, especially his effort to keep this site up to date. With out this site, where would we go to vent? Get or give advice? Try to understand what has happened to us? Keeping The West Nile Survivors Foundation going, Im sure it has been a lot of work for one person. A place were we can go daily, depend on, know that tomorrow it will be were you left it. Take a moment, send him a note. Let him know that it is appreciated. Jack Raney

I wanted to create something like this for all the people out there suffering and have no one to understand what they are going through. I Really appreciate all Mitch has done and would love to help in any way I can. I work with insect disease research and it is very complicated stuff. But this site is what people need to find answers now. Thank you. Jennifer

This is an excellent site, and has been a tremendous support for me. It is the only place that I have been able to go to and find others just like me! Posts: 63 (06/24/08 21:13:01) mitch Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	you guys make the site...that is for sure....the sites do get heavy sometimes...mostly when i read about the suffering and pain of those seeking answers and help-i feel so helpess and want to help each one so very much...but sometimes i struggle just as much and i get frustrated with the lack of answers, understanding and post traumatic support options for those who continue to battle everyday with memories of pain, ongoing problems with care, stresses on spouses, families, and complications with employment, financial obligations and even social rehabilitation for survivors, victims and their families... i try to lurk more than comment...but i'm always around...recovered nicely from bels palsy and am just trying to get some steady work to get a good routine and healthy life back on track... after 5 years of dealing with the remnants of west nile viral encephalitis and meningitis, poliomyelitis, and the friggin' pain pain pain in my legs not too mention the chronic fatigue, i like many of us, am ready to get on with a 'normal' life again...so i sometimes deny the site and my past battle with WNV--sorry for the old news etc...thanks everyone, I am sure that with each day progress comes to us all in different ways and in immeasurable quantities...my best to all! mitch june 24 2008
